#mixtogomiami was destined to be THE destination for the very best in nightlife in Miami Beach. We are #amplified about the responses we have gotten from our team on the new addition to the #mixtogomassive expansion into Miami Beach. It was meant to be a monthly weekend of parties-a "Mix To Go Music Marathon"-and now we are quickly becoming one of the premier voices on what is hot in Miami Beach nightlife!
We hope everyone will #partyresponsibly as they venture into the night. The weather is cooling down a bit and that means you can enjoy a nice walk in South Beach from Mansion at the northern end to Room Service (only a few blocks down) to Bamboo (a few more blocks down) to Story, then from Collins to Ocean Drive where you end up at LIV for Paul Oakenfold's rare SoBe set. We are supporters of all kinds of dance music but our favorites are house, EDM and top 40 dance mash ups. Everything else falls in-between these formats so when you go to any of our top 4 selections below, you will hear a little of them all! We didn't mention ALL of the hotspots in SoBe or Miami Beach; that is NOT the point! We are here to give you the HOTTEST. If you disagree then send us a note via our twitter.com/mixtogo or join "Mix To Go Massive" on Facebook and let's talk about it! Until then enjoy our choices for this weekend below! #partyresponsibly #mixtogomiami

After our physical launch in Miami May 31, 2013, we are now launching a separate website for all things Miami. We will of course still give you the highlights here on our flagship website but there will be more info on specific parties, events and our team's move-making in South Beach and Miami Beach.
Click on the logo above!
Mix To Go Magazine has hosted hundreds of mixers, dance parties, launch parties, music festivals, live shows, lounge shows, parades, fashion extravaganzas...but we couldn't have done it with the help of the many nightclubs, lounges and event spaces in NYC and beyond.
Amplified Venues is now the official site locator for all of our event needs. We highly recommend you give them a call or send an email. Their venues aren't just in NYC either. You can set up events in Washington D.C., Miami, Dallas, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Atlanta. Finding the right place to have an event can be tiresome and grueling! We love to celebrate this thing called life but we are not fond of staying around to clean up. ;D So we utilize the services of Amplified Venues and tell them Mix To Go Magazine sent you! Amplified Venues (347) 450-4AMP or [email protected]
Mix To Go Magazine's 64th issue was released nearly three (3) weeks ago (July 3, always the first Wednesday of the month). Subscribers always get it when it is released; members of "Mix To Go Massive" can get half the magazine FREE (send an email to [email protected] to find out about free and paid membership), and if you are reading this for the first time then you are likely here as a new member, a friend of a member or possibly...search results!
This issue features four (4) new mixes from various categories of music ((#inthemixtogo)). There are many other mixes available (again you need to be a subscriber to get them!) but only these make the cut as our very best of the month. #mixtogomassive is how you will get the latest info on us each day...primarily focused on our NYC activities but also beyond. #mixtogomiami-our 2nd team in Miami which launched late May of this year-features info about our activities there. Each issue we will feature a mix from a Miami style musically (see ppages but age 7 for the first example). Other hash tags are focused on various other areas. Our print magazine is 16 pages and features info about Amplified Talent Bookings, as well as monthly music playlists (#amplified), travel-oriented events (#socialtravelers, see the back page/page 16) and of course DJ FREEDOM (#djfreedomlives). You will occasionally see charity, fund raising and philanthropic efforts via Community Square (#communitysq) as well as words of wisdom from various members of Mix To Go Massive that always end with #stayintune. We may just say that because at the end of the day, that applies to all that we do! A new area of the magazine is about films/movies #filmstogo...we have the online page up of course but haven't had time to maintain the content! We need writers so if you love movies as much as we do, please send us an email or post to our FACEBOOK page for more info. While we have your attention, please do become a subscriber. There are lots of perks (see previous posts on our home page) and we are always upgrading, thanks to readers who give us feedback (you know the whole world has an opinion, like it or not). Stay in touch, and of course, #stayintune. ;D Freedom & Martina Justice Editors, Mix To Go Magazine Each year, Memorial Day Weekend is the "unofficial" launch of summer. This was first begun by a number of club promoters in the late 80's and early 90's who left NYC and traveled to Miami to produce some of the hottest parties at hotels, pool parties and of course nightclubs. What set these events apart was the vastness of the turnout. Thousands flocked to Miami Beach and the most incredible DJ lineups, celebrities and tourists all came together for a great time.
Hollywood jumped on the bandwagon with the release of big summer movies and the music industry was also in, launching major singles that were "leaks" during the spring and breakout hits by Memorial Day Weekend. I famously remember how every year there was a major house release and a major hip-hop release during the Winter Music Conference...or a cross between the two in other formats. In recent years I have heard the rumblings of party promoters complain that "Miami is done," "Miami is old news," "I'm doing my weekend getaway in the Caribbean now," etc. Is this to say the once-favorite place in the southeast region has lost its power?? Of course not! Not if you travel to SoBe during that weekend each year. Anyone who thinks "The Beach" has lost its allure has lost their ability to see what is going on. I also know that is a selling point for what they are doing elsewhere so let's look beneath the surface of such comments and conversations. If you ever hear them then ask "have you been to Miami Beach lately?" Forget "well my friend said" as a response because that just doesn't cut it. Have YOU been there lately?!?! "MIX TO GO MIAMI" is my concept for people who remember the way it used to be, know how it is right now and how it will be in the future. Miami is constantly reinventing itself, and nightlife and other industries are always flourishing because of this constant elevation for self-improvement of the economy. This party weekend features local DJs and DJs like myself who travel there to partake in one of a few select events that are the memories that insiders carry with them long after Memorial Day Weekend is over. We have selected certain nightclubs and ultra lounges in and around the South Beach, Miami area in hopes that we can satisfy the various tastes and needs of party goers this particular weekend. The flyer pictured above is one of the main nights we are producing. Mix To Go Magazine will cover it, Mix To Go Massive will be producing it in association with a couple of promotion teams from Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Be sure to RSVP by either emailing [email protected] or send a text to me directly: (305) 707-4730 (DO NOT CALL). See you on the beach! DJ Freedom || Architect Mix To Go Magazine Mix To Go Massive P.S. - and watch for the debut of the Mix To Go Models hosting our parties launching Memorial Day Weekend in Miami AND in NYC! We KNOW you are TIRED of this song...but we LOVE this mix! It has been a "secret weapon" for nearly a year...but for the first time we'll share it with you!! #mixtogomassive #djfreedomlives #stayintune and of course #inthemixtogo. Dig up our tags on Twitter to get all the music, parties and events we are part of, hosting and/or producing!
