We stand WITH our youth in solidarity! MARCH FOR OUR LIVES is the call for equality, for gun laws to be changed, the age of guns purchased raised to 21, to have better security measures in our schools and for the NRA to have a voice in all of this (they tweeted when the school walk out was taking place but we're silent during the MARCH yesterday).
\n. \nThe president who is always tweeting about everything (and nothing) was noticibly silent during all of the festivities yesterday as well. \n. \nA call to action: support the cause of quality of life issues such as the safety of our young people in schools, self-policing in our neighborhoods, a united front when dealing with bullies, improve the conversations at home with our children-because even though you cannot control what teens and youth do, you can lower the chances of that child wanting to go into a school, a place of business or anywhere to do harm to another young person-especially when it comes to using guns. \n. \nWe STAND in solidarity because our children are our future. They are our hopes and dreams, our inspiration, our very reason for being. LISTEN to them when they tell you what they are thinking, feeling, going through. They are us and never forget we were once them! \n. \nLove and peace, Freedom Justice Allah a.k.a.
